Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Temple of Omnia to provide a spiritual home and a sacred space in which members of our community may deepen their relationship with the Divine, explore the nature of their own spirit, and take an active part in their religious and spiritual awakening.
We believe in one Divine Source, expressed through all of creation and present both around us and within us. While there are many paths by which one may seek the Divine, we believe that sincere spiritual practice, prayer, contemplation, and direct personal experience can open the way to greater understanding, healing, compassion, and transformation.
Our religious practices include worship and sacred ceremonies, prayer, meditation, devotional music and hymns, spiritual teachings, retreats, gatherings, and other forms of ceremonial and contemplative practice. At the heart of our tradition is sacramental worship, through which we seek direct communion with the Divine and guidance from the sacred Spirit of the Sacrament.
We also believe that religious life does not begin and end with ceremony. What is received in sacred practice is meant to be carried into everyday life, through greater self-awareness, love for one another, respect for nature and all living beings, compassion, forgiveness, and service.
Our path does not ask members to surrender their own understanding of the Divine. Rather, we invite each person to approach the sacred with sincerity, humility, an open heart, and a willingness to listen, learn, and grow.
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.”
